Requirements for This Role: Excellent timekeeping, punctuality and ability to adapt to varying tasks Must have own means of transport (no public transport to office) Proficient in Bookkeeping & Financial standard practices. Accounting Qualification is a distinct advantage Must be proficient in SAGE accounting software & ROS portal, Receivable Ledgers Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping MS Office proficiency is a prerequisite. Minimum 3 years experience in similar role with experience within the construction sector being preferable Key Responsibilities: Bank & Credit Card reconciliations. Conduct regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date. Creditors and Debtors. Supplier & Customer Invoicing ensure smooth and efficient transactions between the office and external parties Email & Phone - Query handling in professional & timely manner, coordinating between the office and field-based staff, communicating with clients Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting, and recording accounts receivables payments in SAGE Prepare bank lodgements daily to ensure timely and accurate processing Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all bank receipts are accounted for and properly recorded in accounts software Assist with bank reconciliation by verifying and following up on all discrepancies and queries. Support Credit Control by following up on outstanding invoices and addressing payment queries. Preparation VAT/VIES returns. Working knowledge of same a must. Maintain essential paperwork for monthly, bi-monthly company returns in consultation with MD Filing & Management: Organise and maintain filing and accounting systems meticulously. RCT/PSWT/ROS returns. ROS Online Experience, Submissions, My Enquiries. Strong awareness of data privacy, ensure integrity. Salary & Benefits: Remuneration negotiable.
