Project Manager
Job Summary:
Manage projects through Project Management Life Cycle including Start Well (Planning), Manage Well (Control) and End Well (Execution and Closure) in the EU/APAC DDI team within TDS Data, Delivery and Integration department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist regional executives manage the intake and funding process for new initiatives
2. Provide regional executives with connectivity to broader Change Delivery team in other regions
3. Ensure end-to-end delivery of locally managed projects
4. Work in close partnership with all project stakeholders to align plans, timelines, expectations and deliverables to meet project's objectives
5. Use negotiation and influencing skills to build consensus amongst diverse stakeholder groups to ensure project deliverables are met
6. Ensure projects are delivered based on agreed scope, agreed timeline and approved budget
7. Manage resolution of issues and risks effectively and if required ensures timely escalation of the issues and risks
8. Communicates effectively project status communication to stakeholders
9. Manage project financials, including monthly variance analysis, program benefits and ongoing costs
10. Create and maintain comprehensive project management artifacts in compliance with Change Delivery methodologies, in alignment with agile delivery practices.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years experience in a change delivery role
2. Strong working knowledge with project management tools, such as, Confluence, JIRA, Clarity and Tableau
3. Ability to learn quickly and develop a strong understanding of processes at TD and specific projects to effectively support subject matter experts in completing tasks
4. Ability to connect stakeholders across functions that may require collaboration to deliver on the overall project.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Outstanding record of project management success preferably in Capital Markets, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology; preference to use of Agile
2. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
4. Demonstrates superior inter-personal skills, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills
5. Pro-active in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate risk
6. Proven ability to lead organizational change management activities within a project
7. Experience in a large complex / matrix organization
8. Demonstrated leadership ability
9. Flexible and able to quickly adapt to unfamiliar, ambiguous or changing conditions
10. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and relationship management skills
11. Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects as and when required
Education Requirements:
1. University degree or equivalent
2. PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or CSP designation an asset
