My client, an international FMCG Organisation with offices worldwide, is looking to recruit a driven National Account Manager to join the Irish Business. This is a great opportunity for a professional NAM who is looking to build on his/her experience. The client is looking for someone with a minimum of 4-5 years domestic FMCG experience.
This role has arisen due to a recent change in strategy with a focus on key Brands. The Irish Business has grown 30% in the last 4 years and has a small, tight-knit team with a positive culture.
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a select number of Irish Customers, which will include one major Retailer and one or two Convenience Customers. The role is focused on implementing Joint Business Plans, annual Terms, Account strategies, and NPD to deliver on the Irish Customer Commercial Plan, which focuses on specific sales, profitability, and market share targets.
Success will depend on building strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, including their Distribution Partner and the UK Teams in Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver Sales, Margin & Investment Targets for the Irish Market across the Brand Portfolio.
2. Manage individual customer & distributor profitability to agreed levels.
3. Drive a customer-centric agenda in terms of service delivery and reliability.
4. Monitor individual account performance and report any issues in a timely manner.
5. Develop & manage the annual Promotional Calendar & Budget.
6. Ensure accurate completion and submission of all Promotional Proposals.
7. Secure listings for all NPD in a timely manner.
8. Negotiate and manage agreed Pricing Strategy with each customer.
9. Produce accurate volume forecasts for promotional activity.
Key Requirements:
1. At least 5 years FMCG experience as a National Account Manager.
2. Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
3. Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, and strong analytical skills.
