Category Buyer - 14 month Contract
Hybrid – Dublin City Centre
Category Buyer position available in the IT & Group Services team, specifically in the area of Consulting, Marketing & HR services.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Conduct tenders predominately in excess of €300k.
* Manage a suite of contracts and frameworks.
* Support the Category Manager.
* Research & understand the supply market for relevant categories.
* Develop close working relationships with internal customers.
* Support/manage supplier relationship management interventions with key vendors.
* Provide guidance and support to stakeholders in relation to the Procurement process.
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience in a procurement, contract management or commercial role, or experience in managing complex administrative processes.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong level of commercial acumen.
* Process oriented with an ability to apply a methodical approach to tasks.
* Ability to influence stakeholders in order to achieve best value.
* Highly motivated – able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Ideally knowledge of SAP FMIS and SRM systems.
