Role Summary
This is a key role and part of a great team. You will need to be aware of current MHC guidelines, have excellent communication, teamwork, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates Must
Be registered or eligible to register for the current psychiatric nursing division with NMBI
practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the appropriate/relevant Division of the register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland for the role.
A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
Be prepared to undertake venepuncture.
Provide evidence that they are engaging in continuing professional development
Demonstrate depth and breadth of Psychiatric nursing knowledge and experience in a Community Mental Health setting in the following areas:
Have proved demonstrable experience of flexible working and project a professional appearance/attitude fully embracing the recovery philosophy of Mental Health Nursing.
Remuneration
Salary Grade 2674 Mental Health Staff Nurse on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale
€36,647 - €54,189 per annum pro rata
Initial location
The initial location of this role is in Stillorgan. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
