Retail Support Manager at Co. Sligo
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the efficient operation of the store stock management process at all times and perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Supervisor or Duty Manager experience
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to engage with and prioritize customer needs
* Strong attention to detail, organized, and flexible
* Ability to use initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Main responsibilities include:
* Forecasting orders accurately throughout the trading year
* Duty Manager shifts are required
* Effective coordination of ordering for ambient categories using available technologies and processes
* Maintaining the back-of-house layout effectively
* Merchandising and presenting the store to the highest standard at all times
* Managing promotional activity, including ordering, merchandising, and reporting on promotion value to the Store Manager
* Management of weekly Planograms in-store
* Management of monthly Retail Excellence Reports and action-relevant pillars
* Improving on-shelf availability and minimizing out-of-stock situations
* Coordinating and planning weekly stocktakes/cycle counts
* Management of POS/SEL
* Performing daily tasks and reviewing daily reports – Aisle/Gap walks, Low lines, Negative balance reports, Receiving of Goods
* Managing Rotas and adhering to allocated hours
* Coordinating and participating in relevant weekly store meetings
* Carrying out other duties as required by business needs
