Your Role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to join us on a multifaceted career path, working alongside a highly dedicated and meticulous team. Your exceptional attention to detail will be invaluable as you confidently and assertively orchestrate seamless operations across our stunning aparthotel, delivering exceptional guest experiences and inspiring your team to exceed expectations.
What You Can Do for Us
1. Implement and uphold the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for our Housekeeping department, ensuring strict adherence to Staycity Group's quality standards.
2. Take full ownership of maintaining the property's presentation and hygiene standards, consistently meeting the company's high-quality benchmarks.
3. Assume responsibility for managing customer interactions and assisting with the daily operations and administration of the Housekeeping department.
4. Thoroughly inspect all goods received by the Housekeeping department, meticulously checking for quality and quantity.
5. Maintain accountability for all Housekeeping equipment, guaranteeing its optimal functionality.
6. Provide training, guidance, and supervision to the Housekeeping team, actively participating in day-to-day department activities.
7. Regularly evaluate individual and team performance against set objectives.
8. Enhance the team's skills and knowledge by creating and executing department-specific training plans.
9. Cultivate collaborative relationships with other departments, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
10. Demonstrate flexibility by taking on project work and responding to ad hoc requests from the General Manager and Head Office.
11. Generate revenue and cost forecasts and ensure they remain within budgetary limits.
Required Skills and Experience
1. Proven track record in hotel or hospitality, with prior experience in housekeeping.
2. Exceptional eye for detail, ensuring our apartments meet our high standards.
3. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
4. Dedication to providing exceptional customer care and the ability to expertly handle any guest concerns or complaints.
5. A self-motivator with attention to detail and a passion for customer service.
6. Demonstrate the ability to motivate, appraise, support, and challenge the team to deliver world-class results.
7. No formal qualifications are essential, but you must be able to demonstrate commitment, leadership, and continuous learning.
