Job Title: Head of Compliance and Risk Manager
The Horizon House Group provides board, accommodation and ancillary services to 900 persons in 6 separate units currently located throughout the Leinster region.
We are committed to prioritizing the care and support of individual and family residents, ensuring that their individual health and social care needs are prioritized.
This is a senior management position, and the successful applicant will report to the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure a proactive approach to incident, accident, complaints and risk management across the Horizon House Group in line with the National Standards and national guidance.
* Manage and oversee our risks register, including identifying, measuring, mitigating, monitoring, and reporting risks.
* Liaise with other members of the senior management team in relation to corporate risk and corporate risk management.
* Develop and implement risk management strategy, policies, and business continuity plans.
* Conduct and oversee internal reviews, spot checks or audits to ensure that control procedures are followed in relation to the National Standards.
* Supporting Centre Managers in the assessment of Impact and Likelihood in risk scoring.
Requirements:
* Promoting humanity at the centre of all interactions with our residents.
* A formal qualification in Social Care or Healthcare Management or other relevant qualification at level 8 or above on the QQI framework.
* A minimum of 5 years Management experience in Direct Provision, Social Care, Health Care, or equivalent experience.
* A minimum of 1 year working with people from other nations in crisis situations or seeking international protection, or emergency or temporary residency.
* Detailed and demonstrable experience of risk management processes and national standards related to risk management.
