Store Manager Are you an experienced manager with a passion for all things DIY and electrical? Our client, a leading retailer in Building, DIY, Gardening, and Electrical products, is seeking to recruit a Store Manager to lead and manage their store in Tipperary. This role is ideal for a sales-driven professional who excels at building strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and their team. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitability, sales performance, and key KPIs. You will identify business opportunities, work closely with the buying team, suppliers, and sales teams, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will report to the Regional Manager, focusing on sales growth and overall branch performance. Key Responsibilities: Work with the Regional Manager and Sales Representatives to set and achieve monthly turnover targets. Maintain a clean, well-organised, and properly merchandised store. Lead and support staff in delivering exceptional customer service. Manage stock and purchasing, ensuring inventory levels align with company guidelines. Monitor and control costs, including haulage, delivery, and overhead expenses. Communicate key sales and performance targets within the branch. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies. Manage staff performance, including attendance, timekeeping, and disciplinary procedures where necessary. Key Requirements: Previous management experience in a similar retail environment. Strong understanding of the construction industry and product categories is desirable. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic accounting. Excellent interpersonal and commercial skills, with the ability to drive sales.
