Sr Specialist I – IT End User Computing
Summary:
The Sr Specialist I - IT End User Computing is a key position which supports and assists in the development of global digital workplace strategy. This person leads all aspects of regional or site support including PC support, break/fix, and local IT support. This person identifies, reviews, and operationalizes new technologies to help improve the overall end user experience. Self-driven to solution and project manage new technologies to support business needs while working with site leadership and key business personnel, IT SMEs, and technology partners. Helps to develop an overall site technology strategy while aligning with global IT towers. Have a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities Include:
* Prioritize and facilitate support issues as needed (including but not limited to Break-Fixes, Site Projects, IT initiatives, and Compliance activities).
* Act as a “region/site advocate” to facilitate the resolution of issues with a sense of urgency.
* Drive strategic IT programs and larger projects.
* Partner with engineering teams to develop long-term digital workplace roadmap.
* Develop key relationships with IT SMEs, leadership, user base, and monitor user experience.
* Provide C-Level support for incidents and requests.
* Drive the adoption of new technologies to support business needs.
* Assist in or manage planning and executing IT optimization projects.
* Promote, enforce, and create IT policies, processes & standards.
* Maintain high professional ethics and respect administrative policies.
* Continuously learn new technologies and stay current.
* Operate in a least privileged model and partner with IT engineering teams.
* Ensure global EUC team is trained on deployed technologies.
* Provide input on EUC employee development and growth.
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
* Working experience in WAN, LAN topology and support.
* Working experience in Microsoft products.
* Ability to physically rack, stack IT equipment across multiple locations.
* In possession of a driver’s license (preferably having own car).
* English (spoken and written) skills are required.
* Must be fluent in Microsoft Office/O365.
* Working experience to install, configure, and set-up workstations, servers, printers, etc.
* 5-10 years of proven experience in IT customer support and business partnership.
What We Offer:
Base Pay Range: $79,500.00 - $116,600.00
The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range.
This role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments based on the Company's incentive plans.
