Clerk of Works
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site inspections as directed to monitor on-site construction, materials quality and standard.
* Verify building materials testing and certificate compliance with contract drawings and specification.
* Measure and record contract variations and perform level surveys on site.
* Issue weekly Site Inspection reports in a timely manner to the Estates Project Manager.
* Identify, record, and report construction defects to the Employer's representative, Assigned Certifier, and Estates Project Manager.
* Monitor and assess contract programme; liaise with relevant parties for compliance.
* Ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations and maintain on-site safety awareness.
* Inspect building works for compliance with architects' drawings, engineers' reports, and Building Regulations.
* Report on structures' condition, specify repairs or replacements, and prepare cost estimates for necessary work.
* Supervise works of repair, construction, securing, or demolition where required.
* Issue certificates of compliance with requirements and carry out duties related to legal proceedings.
* Maintain accurate electronic and written records of inspections, notices, etc.
* Supervise employees assigned and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
