The opportunity
The Regulatory Compliance team is part of the Technology Risk group under Risk Consulting, which focuses on Life Sciences & Healthcare industries. You will be an integral member of our risk consulting team, and will spend most of your time providing Regulatory Compliance services to clients in the following areas: quality management, data integrity assessment, quality improvement, validation strategy, technology risk assessment, technology implementation and technology transformation.
Your key responsibilities
* Growing and managing the team with a strong focus on business development.
* Supervising client engagement teams.
* Marketing and delivering Regulatory Compliance services such as Quality Management, Computer System Validation & other risk management services in the Life Sciences domain.
To qualify for the role, you must have
* A bachelor’s degree and approximately 7-8 years of relevant work experience; or a master’s degree and approximately 6-7 years of related work experience.
* 2+ years of consulting experience in Life Sciences.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Advanced written and presentational skills.
* Strong leadership skills & experience in team management.
* Experience with Laboratory & Quality Management Systems, Information Technology (IT) and/or Quality Assurance (QA).
* Experience in people management and solution design.
Ideally, you will also have
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the Life Sciences sector.
* Knowledge of project management.
* Knowledge of SDLC – Waterfall & Agile methods.
* Knowledge of computer system validation and best practices.
* Quality risk management.
Skills and attributes for success
* Lead the team in conversations with Life Sciences clients for new proposals in the Quality and IT compliance space.
* Lead existing engagement review calls and plan the delivery of computer system validation and compliance engagements.
* Support large scale client engagements and consistently deliver quality client services.
* Deliver work products such as validation deliverables, standard operating procedures & fit and gap assessments within expected timeframes.
* Attract top talent to EY and manage their performance to retain the talent.
* Coach, mentor & train new team members.
* Direct the team as per Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Business Process Methodology (BPM).
* Monitor progress of project delivery, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed.
* Understand the EY organisation and its service lines and be proactive in initiating innovative solutions to clients.
* Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to support client needs.
* Play an active role in counseling and mentoring consultants & managers within the organization.
* Provide constructive & real-time on-the-job feedback / coaching to the team members.
