Job Description
As a key member of our team at {company}, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and sustainability across all locations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, including those related to HSA and OSHA.
* Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to drive a culture of safety and regulatory compliance.
* Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement.
* Promote safety awareness and manage emergency preparedness through proactive measures.
* Oversee chemical audits, waste-water reporting, and hazardous material handling to minimize risks.
* Collaborate with HR on workers' compensation and return-to-work processes to support employees.
* Track safety goals, maintain records, and report data to corporate and agencies to measure progress.
* Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and enforce a positive safety culture to foster a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5-10 years of EHS management experience, preferably in multi-site operations.
* A Level 7 degree in workplace safety, industrial engineering, or a related field.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of HSA and OSHA regulations, with experience in compliance.
* Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with teams.
* CIF Safety Supervisor Certification (or ability to obtain).
* Williness to travel to various sites, including Fermoy Co, Cork and Kells, Co Meath.
