Property Sales and Acquisition Manager – Forestry
My client, a commercial company operating in forest land-based business, is seeking a Sales and Acquisition Manager with experience or education in Forestry. This role can be based either in their Castlebar or Sligo office and will be a hybrid work environment with 2 days per week based in the office and 3 days remote or traveling to clients or potential sites. The position reports to the Property Sales Team Leader but will be a largely independent role suiting someone who can work on their own initiative.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer relationship management for land sales and acquisitions.
2. Deliver land acquisition and sales targets.
3. Manage case preparation and recommendations for acquisition & sales projects including verification of title, obtaining necessary approvals, environmental assessment, legal compliance, assessment of other users and uses.
4. Prepare impact assessments for acquisition & property sales.
Qualifications:
1. Forestry Qualification or work experience is essential.
2. 3+ years of experience in land-based sales/acquisitions.
3. Keen commercial sense of awareness.
4. Strong negotiation skills.
5. Full, clean driving license.
6. Ability to travel is a key requirement.
