The Client and overview of the opportunity:
My Client is a Connacht-based, €80m+ turnover Main Contractor with a strong market reputation and over 60 years of continuous trading. This business is hiring for the future and seeks individuals who wish to progress over time.
As part of an established, close-knit team, we are looking for someone who enjoys teamwork, takes pride in their work, and values the success of others.
We are searching for an experienced Senior Site Manager/Project Manager to manage a Residential project. You will report to a Contracts Manager/Company Director and will be the most senior person on-site.
There are approximately 12 months left on this project, but this Company can offer continuity of work in the West and Midlands. They are also involved in other Residential, Education, Commercial, Healthcare, and Industrial projects in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Contracts Manager/Company Directors to ensure the smooth running of the project, ensuring profitability for the Company.
* Manage on-site construction activities, ensuring project milestones are met.
* Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades.
* Manage EHS as per Company and industry standards.
* Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
* Manage site records, progress reports, and day-to-day problem-solving.
* Monitor project costs and ensure resources are used efficiently.
Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Construction Management or a trade background with previous Site Management experience.
* 5+ years of construction experience as a Site Manager/Foreman.
* Strong knowledge of construction practices, regulations, and safety standards.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project schedules.
