Job Title: Retrofit Project Manager
Location: South East of Ireland

Energlaze Home Energy Upgrades, one of Ireland’s leading energy retrofit companies, with a reputation for delivering high quality energy upgrades to homes throughout the country is now scaling its business to play a significant role in meeting the commitment set out in the National Climate Plan, to retrofit 500,000 Irish homes to BER B2 standard or better by 2030. Company transport provided.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed site surveys for new retrofit installations, assessing existing homes and identifying potential challenges.
* Liaise with the sales team and office administrators to ensure the full scope and all technical requirements of the project are understood.
* Plan and execute construction retrofit projects, managing the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, and resource allocations.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating in-house teams and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
* Lead cross-functional teams, including contractors, electricians, plumbers, roofers, insulation contractors, window fitters and office operatives, to ensure smooth project execution.
* Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including homeowners and SEAI technical team, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
* Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring that all installations—insulation, ventilations systems, windows, heating and renewable energy systems—meet quality standards and project goals.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance records, and corrective action plans.
* Report regularly to senior management on project milestones, risks, and progress.
* Liaise with clients to ensure seamless delivery of works, managing weekly tasks and scheduling.
* Ensure adherence to all Environmental, Health, and Safety Standards throughout projects.
Requirements:
* A third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline and/or 2+ years of experience in a construction project management role.
* Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency standards, and building regulations is desirable.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with PM software is an advantage (training will be provided if not). We use Zoho one as our CRM to manage projects.
* Proficient in reading BER reports and Home Energy Assessment (HEA) reports.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach and strong problem-solving abilities.
* Proactive and results-driven, with a passion for sustainable energy solutions.
* Full clean driver’s licence.
