Events General Manager - South Dublin
We are seeking a highly experienced Events General Manager to lead our operations and ensure exceptional service for our guests. This role is ideal for someone with a background in hotel or corporate events management, with experience in hosting large-scale events and a strong knowledge of food and beverage services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events, accommodating up to 500 guests at a time.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and event organisers to drive business.
3. Manage a dedicated team of up to 50 staff, ensuring efficient and effective event operations.
4. Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold the highest standards of service and professionalism.
5. Ensure all event spaces, including the game areas, bar, and restaurant, are prepared and maintained to meet client expectations.
6. Implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service.
7. Manage event budgets, track expenditures, and ensure profitability of events.
8. Develop pricing strategies and manage profit and loss statements to achieve financial goals.
9. Work closely with the culinary team to plan menus that cater to a diverse range of events and client preferences.
10. Oversee the quality and presentation of food and beverages served during events.
11. Ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests, addressing any issues or feedback promptly.
12. Foster a welcoming and engaging atmosphere across all areas of the venue.
Recruitment Requirements:
1. Proven experience in event management within the hotel or corporate events industry.
