The Opportunity
EirGrid Group has developed an ambitious Business Strategy to respond to the unprecedented level of change and opportunity in the electricity industry, aligned with the Government's policies including its Climate Action Plan.
Our Purpose is to Transform the Power System for Future Generations, and our primary goal is to collaborate with the Island's Electricity Sector on Sustainability and Decarbonisation.
The Role
The Chief Transformation and Technology Office (CTTO) visions, leads, transforms, digitises, delivers, and supports the transformational programme to deliver the power system and market by 2030 and beyond, maximising the integration of renewables in a sustainable way at an affordable cost.
This involves delivering complex programmes of work over a relatively short period, using a DevOps Delivery Model that facilitates building quality IT systems and tools at high velocity while continuing to operate the electricity markets and power systems safely and securely.
Your Responsibilities
* Serve as a key stakeholder interface for CTTO, maintaining positive and collaborative working relationships across all business functions within EirGrid to deliver high-quality customer services.
* Oversight of CTTO communications plans to provide balanced, constructive, accurate, and consistent information to stakeholders.
* Plan and manage stakeholder collaboration and communications events, including forums, workshops, training seminars, and meetings, to facilitate higher-quality decision making and improved risk management and mitigation for Strategic Delivery Programmes.
About You
* Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as communications and marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).
* Excellent communication and industry stakeholder engagement skills.
* Expertise in planning and executing complex stakeholder engagement frameworks.
* Able to understand and articulate the purpose of planned changes, anticipated benefits, and potential challenges.
* Ability to identify and build real relationships with key stakeholders and understand their unique interests and concerns.
* Fostering open and transparent collaboration with market participants and stakeholders.
* Delivery-focused, outstanding organisation and planning skills, methodical, and customer-oriented.
* Able to translate complex issues for executive leadership and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Building effective internal and external partnerships.
