Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Summary:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and increasing sales of our client's grocery brand in Galway, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales-based roles and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales: Achieve yearly and quarterly targets by managing existing business, generating new business, and providing effective after-sales service.
* Returns: Manage depot returns and keep them within agreed percentage targets specified by the Regional Sales Manager.
* Reconciliations: Ensure all stock from delivery to sales is reconciled and properly accounted for at all times.
* Rota Management: Manage the team's rota to cover holidays, absenteeism, and ensure adequate staffing cover at all times.
* Staffing: Facilitate timely selection, recruitment, and training of staff as per operational requirements.
* Transport: Ensure management and maintenance of company fleet vehicles, adhering to accident report procedures at all times.
* Reporting: Provide accurate reporting of operational matters as required by regional manager and Company Management.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years successful track record in similar sales-based role.
* Excellent communication and commercial awareness.
* Excellent planning and organizing skills.
* Full clean Irish/European driving license.
