Maintenance Engineer - Cork Our client is the market leading provider of manufacturing solutions for complex, high-precision products and services for the Medical Device and Aerospace & Defense markets.
They require a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical).
In this role, you will be involved in the maintenance and installation of new machinery, as well as the maintenance and refurbishment of plant.
The primary responsibility is to improve the efficiency and reliability of the organization's equipment, systems, and premises.
In this role you will:
Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all equipment, components, and installations, from weekly PM's to Annual PM's.
Carry out required paperwork for internal and external audits.
Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Carry out on-site audits of operator's daily and weekly PM's.
Ensure that equipment is in good working order to prevent disruption of activities.
Electrical problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
Ideally you will have:
Electrical or Fitter qualification.5 years experience in manufacturing support.
CNC experience.
Pneumatic experience.
An ability to work well under pressure.
Good communication skills.
Strong mechanical background.
