Job Description:
Responsibilities:
* Project cost reports are prepared and reviewed.
* Attend Monthly Management meetings.
* Liaising with Sub-Contractors.
* Evaluation of subcontractor records and template revisions, such as appointment records and payment certifications.
* Examination of accounts and requisitions from suppliers.
* Budgets and expenses for changes to the project scope should be measured, priced, negotiated, and agreed upon.
* Verify the accuracy of the project expenses and, if required, raise and address any concerns.
* Manage relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors in terms of their commercial and contractual aspects.
* Keep the management team aware of project performance, executing the cost and value reconciliation to date/forecast.
* Assist in the mentoring and advancement of junior surveyors.
* Look for opportunities to increase income, save costs, and pinpoint and examine losses.
Qualifications/Experience:
* Degree qualified and at least 3 years of experience in quantity surveying in the UK or Ireland (ideally Residential, Retail/Commercial).
* IT Skills – MS Office packages and database experience.
* Ability to work well within a team and to collaborate with others.
* Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
* Full Driving license required.
Salary: Salary for this Intermediate Quantity Surveyor role position is paying between €60,000 - €70,000 (Negotiable dependent upon experience), bonus scheme, car allowance, plus further additional benefits.
