Your New Role
As a Building Surveyor with a background in project management and practical construction experience, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of social housing projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
* Ensuring compliance with building regulations, ventilation standards, and tenancy regulations.
* Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
* Conducting site inspections and quality control checks.
* Utilizing your expertise in Microsoft Excel for project tracking and reporting.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
* 3-5 years of experience with a strong understanding of specifications in social housing.
* Proven experience as a quantity surveyor or building surveyor.
* In-depth knowledge of building regulations, ventilation standards, and tenancy regulations.
* Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Practical experience in construction, including knowledge of guttering, ventilation systems, and general construction practices.
* Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
* Willingness to travel to various sites across Leinster and surrounding areas, including Carlow, Cavan, and Dublin.
* Flexibility to work from home when not on-site.
