We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our client's Data & AI Practice in Co. Kildare. The successful candidate will work with cutting-edge Microsoft technologies, delivering impactful solutions that drive digital transformation for national and international clients.
About the Role:
This is an opportunity to work on the latest Microsoft Data & AI technologies, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Azure OpenAI, and more. As a Data Architect, you will design, build, and lead data and AI solutions that solve complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Solution Architecture: Design and implement end-to-end data and AI solutions using Microsoft technologies.
* Technical Leadership: Lead technical design, build, and deployment of high-quality solutions.
* Data Governance: Ensure compliance with GDPR, NIS2, and ISO27001 using Microsoft Purview.
* Integration: Oversee seamless data integration from diverse sources across the organization.
* Innovation: Apply the latest advancements in Microsoft technologies to solve business challenges.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, scientists, and analysts.
* Documentation: Maintain architectural documentation, data models, and technical specifications.
* Proposal Support: Provide input on proposals, technical specs, and tender responses.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity and quality of solutions through testing and validation.
* Client Engagement: Act as a technical advisor, providing strategic recommendations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
* 37 years of experience as a data/solutions architect with expertise in Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse Analytics.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring GDPR and NIS2 compliance.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills for technical and non-technical teams.

Salary: €120,000 - €180,000 per annum
