The Noel Group is a leading recruitment agency operating nationwide across the hospitality sector. We are proud to partner with a prestigious and well-established client in the luxury hospitality industry to search for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Athlone.
This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional service delivery, smooth departmental coordination, and achieving operational targets. The successful candidate will be highly organised, guest-focused, and have a strong understanding of hotel operations, including F&B, front office, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Our client is a leading 4-star hotel located in Athlone, part of a reputable and expanding luxury hotel group. Known for its outstanding guest service, award-winning dining, and excellent facilities, this hotel is committed to delivering memorable experiences to every guest.
The Duties:
1. Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring high standards are met across all departments.
2. Lead and support departmental managers, promoting a culture of collaboration and accountability.
3. Monitor financial performance, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
4. Ensure health and safety, hygiene, and quality standards are adhered to at all times.
5. Support HR functions including recruitment, training, and staff development.
6. Manage guest feedback and implement strategies to improve service and satisfaction.
7. Report directly to the General Manager and act as Deputy in their absence.
The Requirements:
1. 3+ years’ experience in a senior operations or departmental management role within a hotel environment.
2. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
3. Proven ability to manage budgets, drive efficiencies, and lead high-performing teams.
4. Knowledge of hotel systems and operations (F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping).
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on, proactive approach.
6. Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends and holidays.
7. Must be currently living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
8. Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
The Salary & Benefits:
1. Salary: €45,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)
