Our client, a global leader in the pharma industry, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join them on a 6-month temporary basis.
This role is integral for their global consolidation process and financial reporting, requiring technical expertise in US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and corporate accounting operations.
With offices in Dublin 15, they are operating with a hybrid working model (2 days onsite) and offering a competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, tax, treasury, legal, and audit.
3. Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives within corporate accounting.
4. Analyze corporate spending variances and support the budgeting process.
5. Manage internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
6. Support internal and external audit requests.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational manufacturing environment.
2. Accounting qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent experience.
3. Expertise in SAP (HFM experience a plus).
4. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
6. High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information.
7. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
