Due to growth & expansion our client, located in Navan, Co.Meath, has an exciting opportunity for the right person. They are looking to hire a Sales Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Main duties of the role
* Responsible for driving sales growth within the residential sector.
* Create and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals and sales targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key residential clients such as contractors, architects & interior designers.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for major residential accounts.
* Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
* Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities to drive growth.
* Eventually build and lead a high-performing sales team for the residential sector.
* Mentor and support team members to help them meet and exceed sales targets.
* Generate leads and manage sales pipelines across various commercial sectors (corporate offices, retail spaces, hotels, etc.).
* Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships.
* Track sales performance, analyze trends, and report on results to senior management.
* Utilize CRM tools and other software to manage client information, sales activities, and forecasts.
Fully office-based.
The Person
* Proven experience in sales, preferably within the residential sector (flooring, doors, joinery or related industries).
* Strong understanding of residential market dynamics and client needs.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to create and execute sales strategies.
* Experience in managing or leading a sales team is a plus.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Proficient in CRM tools and sales software.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
