We are seeking a talented Localization Manager to join our team at Workday. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding localization strategy and execution for Workday solutions, impacting users on a global scale.
About the Role:
* Lead and develop a team of localization professionals, fostering their career growth.
* Oversee all aspects of localization workflows, ensuring high-quality translated content across languages and formats.
* Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams to achieve successful localization.
* Promote industry standard processes across Workday, providing guidance and support.
* Analyze and address technical and process challenges to improve localization efficiency and scalability.
* Negotiate and manage strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 5+ years of proven experience in content and software localization.
* 2+ years of leading and developing teams of 5+ localization professionals.
* Proficiency in Machine Translation and Translation Management Systems (TMS) such as Phrase, XTM or memoQ.
* Experience working within agile software development lifecycles.
* A proven track record of managing vendor relationships, including multi-language service providers and technology vendors.
* Success in managing budgets and resources effectively.
