On your way up the career ladder? We are seeking an experienced professional chef to join our kitchen. This position reports to the Head Chef. At the Lough Inn, Restaurant, Farm and Pub Partry, Co Mayo, we are on a mission to serve our customers with food that delights them and is good nutrition. Our farm foundation uses hydroponics to grow veggies.
This role is suitable for a Chef de Partie seeking to become a Sous Chef. Daily work includes tasks for dishwashing, line cooking, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen. Based on demonstrated competency of skills, promotion is available.
Required experience in three of the areas below; Preferred candidate has experience in all five:
1. Sauce Chef: sauces, soups, and stocks.
2. Fish Chef: fish and seafood dishes.
3. Roast Chef: roasted meats and vegetables.
4. Grill Chef: grilled meats and vegetables.
5. Vegetable Chef: vegetables and salads.
