The RDI Hub is recruiting for a Halo Business Angel Network (HBAN) Lead reporting to the CEO of RDI Hub. This role will be available on a part time contract of 3 days per week on a 12 month contract. We are seeking a dynamic proactive startup and investor relations manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and connecting startups/scaleups with angel investors through various events and direct introductions. This role requires insight into the startup and investor ecosystem, networking skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. As HBAN lead, you are responsible for Sourcing and developing high quality deal flow for our network of investors and syndicates. Achieve targets by managing the process of generating and converting investor interest into finalized deals. Organize and oversee events such as startup preparation and pitching sessions, as well as investor networking, recruitment, and education events. Facilitate direct introductions between startups and investors, and nurture these connections. Develop, maintain, and expand a comprehensive database of startups, investors, and deals-in-process and closed deals. Build and foster relationships with key stakeholders in the startup and investment communities. Collaborate with an All-Island network of hubs to ensure successful achievement of regional and national targets. The Person Proven experience in a similar role within the startup or investment ecosystem. Have exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence without authority across internal and external teams and stakeholders. Highly organised and strong in multi-tasking, planning, priority setting and execution. Knows how to manage projects and programmes effectively and engage people to meet milestones. Dependable and strong in planning, priority setting and execution. A team player flexible around job responsibilities and willing to jump in and help where needed. Passionate about innovation and transformation in the enterprise and supporting and growing innovation ecosystems regionally and internationally. Able and willing to work on a variety of tasks. You understand the commercial reality of business, and are able to shape offerings and strategies that fit with given constraints. Self-motivated, independently driven and thrive in dynamic and fast-paced environments with a constant curiosity and a desire to learn. Adaptable and enjoy learning and leveraging new tools to improve communication and increase productivity. Duration of Contract and Terms of Employment: 12 months part-time 3 days a week.
