Job Title: Senior/Basic Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Hours: 37 hours per week, Full-Time, Permanent
We are recruiting a Senior/Basic Grade Clinical or Counselling Psychologist for our client who provides specialized care for adults with severe mental health needs, including Huntington's disease, Alzheimer's and schizophrenia.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychological assessments for inpatient/day and outpatient services.
• Develop and implement individual, family, and group therapeutic interventions.
• Supervise and work with Student/Trainee/Assistant Psychologists.
• Conduct research, particularly in service evaluation.
Requirements:
• Recognised third-level degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) with psychology major.
• Postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
• Minimum five years post-graduate experience in professional psychology.
• Experience in adult mental health/psychiatry of later life.
• Training in cognitive-behavioral therapy.
