Job Title: Expatriate Tax Manager
About the Role:
* Advise clients on the planning implications of international assignments, ensuring they are aware of their tax obligations and liabilities.
* Liaise with global tax partners to guarantee assignees are tax compliant in various host jurisdictions, adhering to local laws and regulations.
* Collaborate with management to prepare detailed technical advice on various tax issues, including legislation and case law research.
* Provide expert guidance to companies on their withholding obligations in respect to cross-border employees, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
* Develop and deliver training presentations to various departments within the firm, covering areas of taxation that impact expatriate employees.
* Conduct regular technical training sessions for tax trainees, focusing on various aspects of expatriate tax.
* Maintain strong client relationships in both compliance and consulting projects, building trust through exceptional service and expertise.
About You:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in expatriate tax, serving an international client base with a deep understanding of employment tax laws.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills.
* A strong foundation in employment tax technical knowledge, as well as knowledge of other taxes that impact expatriate employees.
