POSITION SUMMARY
The DX Device and Fixed Asset Lead will report into the Dx Customer Care and Operations team. This candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding organizational direction on the Asset Global strategy for the Dx Medical Analyzer management placed at veterinary customers or distributors. The focus will be on depreciating assets and sunsetting older models in replacement of newer models, defining and implementing workflows across all global entities.
The candidate will develop and execute a strategic plan for efficient movement of devices globally, aligning with organizational goals and operational requirements. Key elements of this role include process optimization, identifying opportunities for improvements, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance overall equipment management processes. The candidate will implement streamlined initiatives to optimize device movement, ensuring minimal downtime and resource utilization. A strong emphasis on the Assets efficiency model and a solid understanding of accounting standards and regulations in international markets is required.
Build close ties with the Global Manufacturing and Supply organization, Dx ATM Leaders, Dx Product Manager Teams, and Business Unit Directors to facilitate a strong working relationship on Dx Device Asset processes. Exceptional organizational skills and proven experience in implementing new or improved global processes are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and roll out the Global Strategy for Dx Medical Device Management
* Define key metrics to measure the profitable use of the global DX device pool
* Create and drive compliance across all global DX markets on defined asset management standards
* Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple systems
* Conduct in-depth analyses of current processes and highlight potential areas for improvement
* Build a cross-collaborative, cross-functional team to resolve key business issues related to assets
* Develop and enforce compliance standards and processes related to equipment movement
* Evaluate current technologies for tracking real-time movement of devices
* Execute a detailed plan to drive a robust device management process
* Analyze market and product trends to create a roadmap for achieving center of excellence in asset management capabilities
* Lead a team of up to 4-5 people

Organizational Relationships:
This team works with many stakeholders, including Repair Centre Leads, Global Manufacturing & Supply Organisation, Product Managers, Dx Business Unit Directors, Finance Leads, Operational and Process Leads, and Data teams.
Resources Managed:
Supervision of 3 to 4 colleagues.
Education and Experience:
* University degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field
* Masters/Advanced level preferred
* Proven experience in strategic planning and implementation of process improvements
* Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
* Solid understanding of device management and depreciation
* Minimum 10 years of industry experience managing devices and equipment
* Experience in change management and leading in a multi-stakeholder environment
* Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
Technical Skills Requirements:
* Ability to interact with cross-functional team members and stakeholders in a constructive manner
* Familiarity with technology solutions for equipment tracking and management
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
* Demonstrated knowledge of common learning management systems (LMS) and tools
* Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) skills required
Physical Position Requirements:
This position may require frequent international travel (20% - 30%). The candidate may be based in Europe and may require regular meetings outside of traditional work hours. The position may involve lifting some instruments.
