HR & Compliance Officer at Akeso Healthsearch (formerly AGC Healthcare)

The HR and Compliance Officer has a key role in managing the Company’s HR activities, as well as ensuring that the compliance of our healthcare professionals are completed in line with the legislation and HIQA standards.
Requirements:
1. Ideally have experience in a similar role.
2. In-depth knowledge of employment legislations, immigration law and relevant legislation in the areas outlined below.
3. Attention to detail is a pre-requisite.
4. Ability to work on your own initiative.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Strong interpersonal skill.
7. Ability to prioritize your workload.
8. Sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
9. Self-motivated and driven.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing the full employee lifecycle, including but not limited to attraction, recruitment, onboarding, retention, training and development.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
3. Keeping up-to-date with all relevant employment legislation and upcoming regulatory developments, and keeping employees informed about it.
4. Manage Garda vetting and compliance of Healthcare Professionals.
5. Maintain accurate records for Healthcare Professionals in line with legislation and HIQA standards.
6. Assisting Healthcare Professionals registering with the required regulatory bodies.
7. Assisting Healthcare Professionals with their application for validation and recognition of non-Irish qualification.
8. Processing of employment visas and work permits.
9. Reference checking.
10. Maintaining appropriate compliance manuals, policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements.
