Job Description:
A broad technical role is required to oversee the Net Asset Value (NAV) process for a reputable Asset Manager in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing internal NAV oversight, monitoring delegate fund administrators, and reviewing reconciliations between counterparties.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage the internal NAV oversight process for monitoring delegate fund administrators on daily, weekly and monthly NAVs.
* Monitor expected performance of funds versus performance produced by fund accounting teams.
* Develop and maintain exceptions reporting around cash breaks, position breaks, pricing, trade settlements, accruals, and fund flows.
* Review reconciliations between counterparties, custodians, and administrators, co-ordinating investigations among different outsourced service providers.
* Act as the primary point of contact with investment managers regarding outstanding issues, including trade settlements and cash flows.
* Coordinate with custodian and fund administrator regarding outstanding matters related to settlements, dividend distributions, and corporate actions.
* Review the computation of Ongoing Charges for Fund Administrators, providing periodic Budget updates and reviewing actual numbers against expectations.
* Support overall delegate/outsourced service oversight programme in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Liaise with tax advisors, Administrator, and asset managers to ensure timely and proper WHT filing/CGT rate applied and rebates reclaimed.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in Accountancy, Finance, or a Business discipline.
* Previous experience in Fund Accounting, Investment Operations, Middle Office, or Custody roles.
* Good knowledge of financial products and markets.
* Prior experience with derivatives and Swap OTCs is advantageous.
* Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in project management.
