Job Title: Production Manager
As a Production Manager for Nua MMC, you will work with the Site Operations manager to lead, motivate, and develop a team of people, to contribute to output efficiencies whilst maintaining product quality in a safe working environment through technical guidance, using planning and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
1. Leading, managing, and coaching team members to deliver high levels of performance
2. Liaising with all key stakeholders to communicate any changes to the plan
3. Sound knowledge of production processes
4. Good knowledge and understanding of current Health & Safety legislation
5. Excellent leadership and communication skills
6. Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining quality of end product
7. Ability to work as part of a team to achieve required results
8. Ability to work from detailed technical drawings
9. Ability to interpret company documents
10. Demonstrates a flexible and positive attitude
11. Promotes a flexible approach
12. Ability to organise workload
13. Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time.
Requirements
1. Liaising with relevant parties to work out the most cost-effective/practical solutions.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment to support our production needs
3. Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment is essential
4. Previous experience in construction-related industries, Timber frame house/trusses an advantage
5. Passionate about meeting both Customer and Company expectations
6. Excellent organisational and leadership skills
7. IT literate on various software packages
Qualifications:
1. Proven track record of successfully working in a management or supervisory role
2. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a leadership team.
