SupportNinja is seeking a highly driven, dynamic Account Executive who thrives on both winning new business and growing existing client relationships. You'll be responsible for generating new opportunities, managing your own pipeline, and driving revenue growth by deepening relationships with existing accounts.
As an Account Executive – New Business & Account Growth, you'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy. This role blends strategic prospecting, solution selling, and account management. You'll be responsible for generating new opportunities, converting leads into loyal customers, and expanding value within your existing accounts.
You'll own the entire sales cycle — from outreach to close — and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure client success and retention. This is a quota-carrying role with real impact, visibility, and room for growth. You will be tasked with identifying potential clients and building lasting relationships with them, while also establishing a deep understanding of their business needs and objectives. Your role will require strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders. What does a day in the life as an Account Executive look like?
* New Business Development (approx. 60%)
o Identify and engage prospects through outbound efforts, inbound follow-up, networking, and events
o Qualify leads, uncover pain points, and position solutions to address customer needs
o Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, demos, and presentations
o Drive deals through the sales funnel, negotiating terms and closing new business
o Consistently meet or exceed new business targets
* Account Growth & Retention (approx. 40%)
o Build strong relationships with existing customers across all levels of the organization
o Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on client needs and usage patterns
o Partner with Customer Success and Operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention
o Conduct regular check-ins, QBRs, and performance reviews with key accounts
o Track renewals and proactively mitigate churn risks
* Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity data in HubSpot
* Provide regular forecasting updates and performance reports to leadership
* Share customer feedback and market insights to inform marketing strategies
What are the required qualifications of an Account Executive?
* 3–5 years of B2B sales experience
* BPO Background
* Demonstrated ability to both open new accounts and grow existing ones
* Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication, with a knack for storytelling and problem-solving
* Comfortable managing a full sales cycle and multiple opportunities simultaneously
* High energy, goal-oriented, and highly organized
* Experience with CRM tools and modern sales tech stacks (e.g. Sales Navigator, Hubspot, Gong, ClientPoint, etc)
Preferred qualifications
* Exposure to structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN, etc.)
* Knowledge of customer success/account management workflows
* A solid understanding of the buyer journey in BPO
