Purchasing Manager / Insite Manager Job Description
Our multinational client in County Limerick is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager / Insite Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and optimize the Supply Chain to ensure maximum efficiency.
* Plan and manage material requirements to meet production needs.
* Purchase and follow up on materials, subcontracts, and services from suppliers.
* Manage general administration tasks including purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, and more.
* Liaise with suppliers and visit their facilities as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
* Collaborate with internal and external parties to achieve common goals.
* Process customer complaints efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a purchasing role.
* A recognized qualification in a related discipline.
* Full clean driving license.
* Experience in Engineering or manufacturing environments is a significant advantage.
* Strong negotiation, IT skills, analytics, and organizational skills.
* Advanced skills in MS Excel, particularly with formulas and complex financial spreadsheets.
* Experience with material planning and contract management using an ERP system.
