QHSE Manager
We are partnering with our Client in Cavan to find a QHSE Manager.
Job Description
* The ideal candidate will have a recognised quality management accreditation and experience delivering significant quality objectives in a manufacturing environment.
* A background in continuous improvement methodologies, such as 6-Sigma, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and development to the organisation to maximise the effectiveness of the Quality System.
* Develop a continuous improvement culture that addresses root cause analysis of customer complaints and leads a culture of change for continuous improvement in all aspects of customer complaints management.
* Work functionally across all departments demonstrating leadership and support of the Quality Management System.
* Implement the SPC continuous improvement process to achieve goals of reducing non-conformances, achieving business goals, and key performance indicators.
Main Objectives
* To effectively communicate strategy, obligations, and behaviours throughout the organisation at all levels within the business.
* To play an integral part of the Extrusion Centre of Excellence management team striving for commonality and best practice in compliance management.
Health, Safety & Environment
* Develop and implement robust health and safety policies and procedures aligning with local regulations, industry best practices, and company objectives.
* Formulate, introduce, manage, plan, schedule, govern, and sustain a health & safety audit and surveillance structure to evaluate conformance to health and safety policies and framework, ensuring compliance to local safety regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish clear safety goals, objectives, and performance metrics, and devise strategies to achieve them.
