Job Title: Delivery Driver (B or C Licence)
Location: Cork, Ireland
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: €14-16 per hour & a weekly subsistence allowance.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver furniture to customers in a safe and timely manner, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
* Load and unload furniture with care, taking every precaution to prevent damage during transit.
* Assemble furniture on-site as required, demonstrating attention to detail and professionalism.
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
* Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures, adhering to strict guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Keep delivery vehicles clean and well-maintained, performing regular checks to ensure optimal performance.
* Assist in the warehouse when necessary, supporting colleagues in tasks such as inventory management and packaging.
Requirements:
* Valid B or C driving licence
* Previous experience in furniture delivery or a similar role is preferred
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy furniture
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good knowledge of local routes and navigation apps
* Flexible with working hours, including weekends if required
