What is the opportunity?:
As a Senior General Ledger Analyst, you will be responsible for various tasks related to record-to-report and local entity financial statements. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect:
* Preparation of period-end financial reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
* Calculation, posting and analysis of period-end accruals, ensuring that all items are accurately captured.
* Preparation, analysis and review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and appropriate accounting treatment.
* Assist in the preparation of quarter end balance sheet reporting for senior management.
* Analysis and review of expenses to ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
* Responsible for the management and maintenance of the Chart of Accounts.
* Collaboration with external advisors to support ongoing compliance for local entities.
* Support the finance team with documenting key processes, specifically around period-end close activities.
* Assessment and improvement of ongoing accounting policies and processes.
* Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
What will you bring to Omnissa?:
* Ideally ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualified.
* At least 3+ years working in a multi-national accounting/finance team.
* Oracle ERP experience an advantage.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills.
* Excellent analytical acumen.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be meticulous, detail oriented, organized and self-motivated.
* Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to be flexible while working with time constraints and deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

What is the structure and culture of the team like?
We are a recently formed global accounting team, responsible for all aspects of Omnissa’s financial statements and more. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join Omnissa in its early phase of establishing & defining processes. The accounting team is highly motivated and driven by the challenge of standing up accounting systems, processes, and policies for Omnissa, in order to deliver timely and accurate financial statements.
