About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee various projects within Kerrygold Park. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, excellent organisational skills, and a background in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to meet objectives.
Team Interactions
* Lead and motivate project teams, providing clear direction and support.
* Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
* Conduct regular project meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
Stakeholder Communication
* Maintain regular communication with external and internal stakeholders.
* Provide detailed project reports and updates to the Head of Commercial.
* Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
* Implement best practices in project management and food production.
* Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in the food industry.
* Proven track record of managing projects from initiation to completion.
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
