This role will be pivotal in helping Climeaction navigate the complexities of rapid global expansion, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence. The successful candidate will bring expertise across core NED competencies, with a particular focus on scaling engineering, consulting, and digital product businesses.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Oversight: Provide independent, high-level advice to the board and leadership team on global scaling strategies for engineering, consulting, and digital product lines.Governance and Compliance: Ensure Climeaction adheres to best practices in corporate governance, risk management, and legal compliance.Mentorship and Leadership Development: Support and advise the leadership team in building robust management structures and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.Digital Product Scaling: Leverage experience in scaling digital tools or platforms to support Climeaction’s digital solutions, ensuring effective market penetration, user adoption, and competitive differentiation.Growth Enablement: Offer insights and strategies for sustainable growth, drawing from personal experience in scaling businesses globally across multiple sectors.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a sounding board for investor relations and provide guidance on building strong relationships with key stakeholders.In-Person and Ongoing Support: Attend quarterly board meetings in person and dedicate one day per month to providing tailored support and advice to the leadership team.Key RequirementsExperience: Significant experience scaling engineering or consulting businesses on a global scale. Proven track record in scaling digital products or platforms, from concept through to market adoption. Expertise in international market entry, operational scaling, and managing complex organizational growth.Core Competencies: Strategic vision and governance expertise. Strong financial acumen and risk management capabilities. Proven ability to mentor and develop executive teams. Deep understanding of sustainability, environmental impact sectors, and digital innovation.Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to challenge constructively and offer solutions-oriented advice. Demonstrated expertise in navigating the complexities of diverse regulatory, operational, and digital product environments.Commitment: Willingness to dedicate approximately one day per month to support the leadership team.
