Job Title: Part-Qualified Accountant
Location: Limerick, Ireland
Type: Full-Time, 39 hours per week

We are looking for a motivated Part-Qualified Accountant to join our Limerick office team. This role is ideal for someone with professional accounting knowledge and experience, whether or not they are actively pursuing further qualifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and assist with monthly financial statements and management accounts.
* Input and process sales invoices for issue to customers.
* Process and input purchase invoices into the accounting system.
* Ensure all receipts and payments are recorded and allocated correctly in the system.
* Maintain up-to-date customer and supplier ledgers, ensuring all transactions are fully allocated.
* Process credit card and cash transactions, issuing receipts as required.
* Issue statements, remittances, and other financial documents requested by customers or suppliers.
* Support stock management, purchasing, and goods receivable processes.
* Identify discrepancies with delivery dockets and liaise with suppliers to resolve them.
* Coordinate with suppliers on delivery issues, timetables, and general queries.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring proper filing and organization.
* Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers via telephone, email, and general correspondence regarding orders, invoicing, and payments.
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Collaborate with external auditors and support audit processes.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements:
* Part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) or with significant relevant experience.
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping is advantageous.
