JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client, a global pharmaceutical and medical devices company who employ over 4,000 people in Ireland are seeking to hire a Financial Accountant with French to be based in their Shared Services team in the south side suburbs of Dublin, supporting the Medical Devices Division. The team of 8 are responsible for all Western Europe commercial, Regional distribution centres and Manufacturing sites.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsibility for the monthly general ledger close activities for US GAAP
* Review and preparation of monthly reconciliations & journals to ensure high quality compliance with US GAAP
* Complete SOX controls in line with control matrix
* Work closely with outsourced business partner
* Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders and provide information and support as needed
* Ensure timely completion of Internal and External audits
* Provide input to and co-ordinate projects
* Identify opportunities for improvement of processes and work on key team projects
* Migration of activities to shared services
* Standardization of processes post migration to SAP and shared services
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
* Accounting Qualification – ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA
* Post qualified experience preferably with Shared Service Centre and multinational corporation background however open to practice experience with global clients
* Strong sense of initiative in change management and process improvements
* French
* Preferred Requirements:
* S4 Hana or other major ERP Systems experience is desirable
* Experience with migration of activities to shared services
* Strong Excel Skills are required for the role
* Power BI or data analytics skills desirable
