**FP&A Manager Role Overview**
This newly created position reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is a part of the senior management team in our expanding construction organisation.
The role provides financial insights, analysis, and support to the business to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for preparing detailed financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to ensure the company's financial objectives are met.
### Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversight of the annual budget, strategic plans, forecasting, and long-term financial plans for the company.
2. Analysis of financial performance, including project costs, revenue, profitability, and cash flow.
3. Provision of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, with insights and recommendations.
4. Tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to construction projects and company performance, providing variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
5. Conducting ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and business strategy.
6. Collaboration with project managers, site teams, and department heads to provide financial insights, guidance, and support for ongoing projects.
7. Support of tendering processes by providing financial evaluations, cost analyses, and risk assessments for potential projects.
8. Development of financial models and scenarios to support business planning, investment decisions, and project evaluation.
9. Assistance in identifying opportunities for cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and revenue enhancement within projects.
10. Monitoring of financial risks associated with construction projects, identifying potential financial impacts and mitigation strategies.
11. Ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
12. Assistance with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data, documentation, and analysis.
### Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Accountant with minimum 4 years' experience in financial analysis & planning within industry.
Experience within the construction sector is preferable.
Highly proficient IT skills.
Able to work on own initiative and be proactive and self-starting.
Fluent English is essential along with excellent communication skills.
