What You’ll Do
Sales and Business Growth
* Drive Sales Growth: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting cafés, hotels, restaurants, offices, and other high-potential clients.
* Close Deals: Turn leads into long-term partnerships through persuasive communication, negotiation, and outstanding service.
* Focus on Retail Sector: Collaborate with the Account Manager to identify and secure a strong distributor partner and work towards getting products listed with leading multiples and retail outlets.
* Build Relationships: Manage and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
* Network Like a Pro: Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking meetings to increase brand visibility and build your contact base.
* Be the Coffee Expert: Educate clients on the unique value of 5 Mile Coffee’s products and services, positioning us as the go-to supplier in the industry.
* Collaborate Strategically: Lead a small team, including at least one direct report, while working closely with our marketing and operations teams to align efforts and maximize results.
Commercial Focus
* Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and execute commercial strategies that drive sales and maximize margins.
* Deliver and exceed agreed regional and territory sales, profit, and margin targets across the region.
* Develop the territory by managing a prospect list to secure new customers.
* Ensure excellent customer service through friendly, accurate field communication and good administration practices.
* Serve as the face of the organisation to internal and external partners.
* Stay motivated to identify opportunities for sales growth and innovation.
* Complete all administrative tasks, including journey plans, training records, site inspections, sales reports, and prospect lists.

* Proven Track Record: 3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in food, beverage, or hospitality industries.

* Retail Expertise: Familiarity with the retail sector, experience in securing distributor partnerships, and successfully listing products with major multiples is highly desirable.
* Exceptional Communication Skills: Whether it’s pitching to a new client or maintaining existing relationships, you know how to make an impact.
* Networking Guru: You know how to work a room and turn conversations into opportunities.
* Strong Negotiator: Closing deals comes naturally to you.
* Self-Starter: You’re proactive, organised, and driven to succeed.
* Commercial Acumen: You can balance sales growth with profitability and strategic thinking.
* Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems and MS Office to track and optimise sales efforts.
