An exciting opportunity is available at the Aloft Dublin City Hotel as we expand our Finance Team. We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable & Payroll Executive with relevant experience to join us in Dublin.
Located in The Liberties, Aloft Dublin City is a uniquely styled hotel with 202 bedrooms, meeting spaces, a gym, F&B outlets, and an on-site Gastro Pub. The 7th floor offers panoramic city views, housing the reception and F&B outlets.

This full-time position reports directly to the Hotel Accountant.
Responsibilities:
1. Process accounts payable, reconcile vendor accounts, and ensure timely payments.
2. Manage weekly payroll to ensure accurate employee payments.
3. Assist in preparing monthly management accounts accurately and promptly.
4. Reconcile balance sheets and support account balances with proper documentation.
5. Code and post bank transactions daily, reconcile weekly.
6. Assist with annual financial audits and prepare accordingly.
7. Safeguard hotel assets.
8. Support Accounts Receivable functions when needed.
9. Prepare and issue daily business reports as required.
10. Collaborate within the finance team to support daily operations.
11. Assist other departments with finance-related duties ensuring accuracy and compliance.
12. Maintain high standards of work, conduct, and appearance.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
The Ideal Candidate:
* 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Experience with Sage 200 and Sage Micropay is advantageous.
* Experience with Opera, Micros, and hospitality industry knowledge is beneficial.
* Procurement system experience is a plus.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Relevant paperwork/Visa to work full-time in Ireland is required.
