We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team at an award-winning Pharmaceutical organization based in Cork.
Duties
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver projects, ensuring timely completion of milestones and schedule targets.
* Implement and maintain the Carlow 2 Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Pro-Cal, and general maintenance systems to support project timelines and milestones.
* Maintain process and production equipment, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime.
* Support maintenance planning and preventative maintenance through completion of planned and emergency work orders, calibrations, PMs, etc., documenting all maintenance work, including upgrades and parts used.
* Operate and monitor production support equipment using MES/DCS and PLC-based systems to optimize equipment uptime and target outputs while implementing continuous process improvements using Lean Principles.
* Perform complex system operations, troubleshooting, and repair under minimal supervision in a highly regulated, cGMP environment, interpreting P&ID's, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications as needed.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by leading and participating in repairs, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and system failure investigations, executing change control, and contributing to Kaizen events as appropriate.
* Perform root cause analysis of system failures and substandard equipment performance using standard tools and methods, resolving machine and system issues, and implementing corrective action through the change management system.
* Identify and supply information and technical data for securing spare parts and equipment asset entry into the CMMS, liaising directly with vendors as necessary, and assisting with general facility upkeep and customer support.
Education & Experience
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
* Time-serviced Apprenticeship or equivalent Certificate/Diploma in an Engineering or related discipline is required.
