Business Support Analyst (6 months contract)
The Business Support Analyst provides essential cross-functional support to John West's Irish business unit. Key responsibilities include setting up customer deals and pricing in SAP, ensuring timely accruals, and managing the Deals & Accruals (D&A) process in collaboration with the Financial Controller. The role also involves developing a Pricing and Quantity tracker, supporting the Supply Chain Manager, and contributing to business improvement initiatives. By working closely with Commercial, Finance and Supply Chain teams, the Business Support Analyst enhances operational efficiency and compliance within the organization.
The role will report to the General Manager, John West Ireland.
Your Responsibilities:
Customer Deals & Pricing in SAP:
* Set up all customer deals and pricing in SAP.
* Collaborate with National Account Managers (NAMs) to ensure accurate setup and accruals.
* Obtain full approval of deals before stock shipments for timely accrual of promotions.
* Provide deal details to the Financial Controller for approval.
D&A Process Management:
* Work with the Financial Controller to manage the Deals & Accruals (D&A) process.
* Track accruals and assign debit notes upon receipt from customers.
* Hold formal meetings with Finance and Commercial Teams to review and close deals.
* Ensure formal closing of deals in SAP.
Pricing and Quantity Tracker:
* Develop, implement, and manage a Pricing and Quantity tracker.
* Align customer price lists with SAP to prevent discrepancies affecting P&L.
Support to Supply Chain Manager:
* Coordinate communication with Port Health, logistics, and warehouse partners.
* Provide third-party supply support (contracts, POs, order tracking).
* Ensure business continuity in the Supply Chain Manager's absence.
Business Improvement Support:
* Collaborate on group-wide initiatives (e.g., SAP Upgrade).
* Implement best practices within JW Ireland, focusing on SAP.
* Oversee health and safety training and crew engagement.
Business Compliance:
* Support JW Ireland General Manager to ensure compliance with Thai Union RACE Health & Safety requirements.
* Collect and submit packaging reports for Repak Ireland.
* Attend quarterly site meetings and support office management.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP is essential for managing data and processes effectively. The candidate should be comfortable using these tools to support their role.
Experience:
* Previous administrative experience is essential, providing a solid foundation for the responsibilities of this position. A background in the commercial and/or finance sectors is preferable, as it will contribute valuable insights to the role.
