Job Description:
Overview: PM Group's OTS department is currently seeking Senior Project Managers for a substantial pharmaceutical project based in Westmeath. Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) is an integral part of our ability to support clients across the complete project life cycle. The successful candidate will work as part of the client's team in delivering the project.
Responsibilities:
1. Takes ownership of large scale pharma project with responsibility for successful provision of cost management.
2. Involved in strategic project-related decisions to ensure customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
3. Ability to build and manage a team of Cost Professionals that will take responsibility for the projects.
4. Responsible for organisational developments to fulfil goals and objectives.
5. Provides project information to support and participate in the development of longer-term Strategic Plans.
6. Promotes engagement and understanding of the importance of exemplary standards of Health and Safety.
7. Ability to establish resource requirements, allocate, deploy, and manage resources to specific tasks.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the Purchasing or Project Controls department with prior experience working on large scale pharmaceutical type projects.
2. Ability to regularly interact with staff, management, and clients to provide or obtain related information.
3. SAP SME preferable but not essential as training will be provided.
4. Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, and confidentiality.
5. An organised self-starter who is attentive to detail and able to work independently.
6. Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks, likely with competing priorities.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications (preferable but not essential):
1. Member of the Association of Cost Engineers.
2. Purchasing or accounting technician qualifications.
3. BSc Accountancy.
4. BSc Business.
